Hair care routine

A while ago I asked you on Instagram (if you don’t follow me there, perhaps you could change that now @nikolina_vasic) if you wanted a blog post about my hair care routine, so as I received a positive feedback, here it is now. I know I’m kinda late, but you’ll forgive me hopefully. :)

So let’s start now. First things first, my hair type is normal to dry. My hair is pretty thick and long so I do my best to keep it healthy and good looking. When it comes to going to the hairdresser, I must admit that I don’t really cut my hair as regularly as I should, but I used my hair to that so I have no bigger troubles with it. I would usually have my hair cut twice a year. Additional information that you should know before we get on to the products is that I let my hair air dry most of the time. I use styling tools every time I wash my hair, except during summer when I often just let it air dry. I use Braun satin hair flat iron and curling wand for years and I’m more than satisfied with them. However, I’m considering getting the cone curling wand, because it would hold the curls better and longer as my hair now is long and weighty.

In terms of the products I use, I stick to Loreal Elseve collection and Aussie most of the time. I currently use Loreal Elseve Extraordinary Oil shampoo and conditioner along with Aussie Daily Clean Miracle shampoo and widely famous 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor. It’s a winning combination! It leaves my hair soft, shiny and my ends feel like I’ve just walked out of the hair salon. I must highlight that when I wash my hair, I never brush it wet, I put conditioner and mask, leave them like that for a few mins and wash it out. Brushing wet hair stretches your hairs which makes them break and we for sure don’t want that. After washing, I put my hair in a towel just for a few minutes, to absorb the excess water and then I put hair oil while it’s still completely wet, put the towel back on for another half an hour to 45 mins and that’s it. Then I let it air dry and style it later on. Whenever I have time, I make some natural hair masks. Usually, I mix coconut oil, olive oil, one egg and honey, leave it on for as long as possible and then wash my hair. I won’t say a word more about it, just try it and let me know your impressions. Apart from that one, when I’m lazier, I’ll just put coconut oil which has so many benefits for our hair and skin.

I believe that it is peeps! This is my simple yet effective hair care routine. I change shampoo and conditioner from time to time, but the ones aforementioned are my absolute favourites. Feel free to share your favourite products in the comments below or on my Instagram photo. Love,
Nina

Hajde da počnemo sada. Prije svega moj tip kose; normalna do suva. Godinama koristim Braun satin hair peglu i figaro i zaista sam prezadovoljna njima.

Trenutno koristim Loreal Elseve Extraordinary Oil šampon i regenerator u kombinaciji sa Aussie Daily Clean Miracle šamponom i planetarno popularnim 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor. Neću vam reći ni riječ više o toj masci, probajte i sami i javite mi utiske.
