In today’s post I will present you some of the face masks I use. I usually use them 2-3 times a week, depending on the condition of my skin. I have dry skin with T-zone more on the oily side. Now, let’s begin!
SKINFOOD Strawberry black sugar mask wash off
So far this is my favourite face scrub. It contains
Brazilian black sugar, strawberry seeds and strawberry seed oil which make it
smell perfectly. I gently massage it on damp face and leave it for 15 mins, after
that, I scrub my face with wet hands but not too roughly because it is pretty
strong scrub for me. After I wash it off, skin feels really clean and fresh. I
really enjoy using it as it is a true refreshment for skin because it removes
dead cells. I usually apply face cream after that or moisturise it with one of
the sheet masks I will talk about a bit later.
SKINFOOD Egg white pore mask
I love this one! It cleans my pores really good. I was
really surprised with the results when I first used it. The way I use it is
that I apply it on my face and leave for 15 mins, so simple but so effective. After
washing it off, pores are so clean, without impurities. However, sometimes it
gives me the feeling of straining and a bit of dryness but since I follow it up
with a face cream, it goes away quickly.
Besides, I also use a homemade version of this mask which
also gives incredible results. All you need is one egg white and a piece of toilet
paper. Slightly whisk egg white, just to make it easier to use; take a piece of
toilet paper and divide its layers, as it’s best to use one. Put the egg white using
your fingers on the desired zones of your face (I put it on my forehead, nose
and chin) then put one layer of toilet paper and then again put the egg white
over it. Let it dry completely and then slowly take it off. You’ll be able to
see all impurities on the paper. It gives amazing results and cleans the pores
really good even after one use. In a long term usage, it will make an amazing difference to your skin.
SKINFOOD, NATURE REPUBLIC, SKIN79 sheet masks
When I want to look like a mummy and scare my mum, I use
these! I’m so grateful to anyone who invented them. To me, it’s not really
important which one of these I use, my skin really loves them. The only thing
that annoys me sometimes is the weird feeling of having paper all over my face,
but that’s a small sacrifice for nice skin. These ones I have are really rich,
wet and sodden. Before the sheet mask, I usually use the strawberry scrub to
prepare my skin for it. When I put it, I leave it on for 20 mins, take it off
and leave skin to absorb the rest. My skin feels so soft, moisturised and fresh. The best time to use them is before bed.
HOMEMADE CLAY mask
This one is so simple to make and the effect it gives is
simply amazing. After listening about clay masks from different brands, I remembered
I actually have clay powder in my house and decided to try it. I mixed one table
spoon of green clay powder (don’t use metal, wooden spoon is the best option)
with one table spoon of water and made a nice paste. Put all over your face and
let it dry for 20 mins approximately. Simply wash it off and voila! Nothing ever
cleaned my skin like this, it also improved the blood flow to my face so the
skin looked so nice, clean and healthy.
Let me know what are your favourite face masks you get in stores and if you use any homemade ones, as I would really love to try some new recipes. :)

Nina
